Job Overview: Responsibilities
As a Research Scientist in Formulation & Development, your core responsibilities will include:
- Literature Research: Conduct thorough literature searches for assigned projects to stay updated on relevant findings and methodologies.
- Raw Material Management: Monitor and ensure the availability of raw materials, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), and packaging materials (PM) as per project requirements.
- Formulation Development: Align and execute formulation development activities according to timelines and specific project needs.
- Project Presentations: Prepare and present project updates to the Global Leadership team (GL) at various stages of development.
- Stability Studies: Ensure products are loaded into stability studies on time. Monitor and analyze stability data to make informed decisions.
- Compliance and Documentation: Write and maintain online Lab Note Books (LNBs) to comply with regulatory requirements. Compile and review development and stability data for discussions and approvals.
- Regulatory Submissions: Prepare documents for DCG(I) submission and align activities for approval by the Drug Quality Assurance (DQA) team.
- Adherence to SOPs: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines in the laboratory to ensure quality work and safety.
- Lab Maintenance: Ensure the laboratory area is clean, organized, and compliant with required standards.
- Additional Tasks: Take on any other specific work assigned by the Section Head or Department Head.
