Roles & Responsibilities
As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of microbiological and analytical activities, including:
- Performing microbiological analysis such as:
- Bioburden testing
- Microbial Limit Test (MLT)
- Test for specified organisms
- Conducting chemical analysis of water samples (PW/WFI/POW)
- Environmental monitoring of cleanroom areas
- Utility monitoring and water sampling
- Handling sample receipt, tracking, and coordination for release activities
- Maintaining microbiology laboratory operations:
- Media preparation and sterilization
- Culture maintenance
- Growth promotion testing
- Media disposal
- Monitoring temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions in lab areas
- Ensuring adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies
- Maintaining proper documentation and data integrity
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing and environmental monitoring
- Experience with water testing and pharmaceutical products (OSD/Injectables)
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a team and handle dynamic environments
- Flexibility to work in shifts
