Roles & Responsibilities

As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of microbiological and analytical activities, including:

  • Performing microbiological analysis such as:
    • Bioburden testing
    • Microbial Limit Test (MLT)
    • Test for specified organisms
  • Conducting chemical analysis of water samples (PW/WFI/POW)
  • Environmental monitoring of cleanroom areas
  • Utility monitoring and water sampling
  • Handling sample receipt, tracking, and coordination for release activities
  • Maintaining microbiology laboratory operations:
    • Media preparation and sterilization
    • Culture maintenance
    • Growth promotion testing
    • Media disposal
  • Monitoring temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions in lab areas
  • Ensuring adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies
  • Maintaining proper documentation and data integrity

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of microbiological testing and environmental monitoring
  • Experience with water testing and pharmaceutical products (OSD/Injectables)
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team and handle dynamic environments
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • High attention to detail and compliance standards
