Job Role: Research Associate Trainee – Analytical Chemist

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analytical Development:
    • Perform method development, evaluation, and validation for analytical processes.
    • Operate and maintain analytical instruments like HPLC, GC, and KF to test raw materials, solvents, and finished products.
  2. Documentation:
    • Record observations, results, and resource utilization in Laboratory Notebooks (LNB) or Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNB) as per guidelines.
    • Ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data integrity policies.
  3. Safety and Compliance:
    • Follow all environment, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.
    • Actively contribute to creating a safe workplace by adhering to safety guidelines and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Ensure compliance with Syngene’s quality and integrity standards.
  4. Collaborative Culture:
    • Drive a culture of professionalism, excellence, and ethical practices within the team.
    • Participate in training and development programs related to EHS and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation (HPLC, GC, KF).
  • Strong understanding of method development and validation processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
