Responsibilities in the Role
As an Executive – Research and Development (Analytical Development), your core responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP and adhering to SOPs and current guidelines.
- Completing mandatory training before executing assigned tasks and maintaining training files.
- Following safety protocols as per laboratory procedures.
- Escalating incidents or issues promptly to the reporting manager for corrective actions.
- Conducting method development and validation studies for drug products and in-process materials.
- Overseeing stability studies for drug products and in-process materials.
- Aligning with the organization’s goals while meeting quality and regulatory standards.
- Performing instrument calibration and maintaining equipment per SOPs.
- Preparing study protocols, study reports, and ensuring timely archival of documents.
- Ensuring proper handling and disposal of laboratory waste.
- Qualifying reference standards and chemical samples according to approved procedures.
- Supporting Quality Management Document procedures.
Note: In the absence of the primary designee, a subject matter expert with equivalent or higher experience may perform the tasks.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance).
- Technical Proficiency:
- Instrumentation knowledge: HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, Balance, pH Meter, etc.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with technical and conceptual problem-solving.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
