Key Responsibilities

As a Safety Systems Analyst Level 1, you will:

  • Support implementation and enhancement of pharmacovigilance safety systems.
  • Assist in Oracle Argus Safety and other PV platform upgrades.
  • Work closely with Global IT teams for system integrations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance technology solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to safety databases.
  • Manage CAPAs and perform root cause investigations.
  • Participate in pharmacovigilance audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain training materials and controlled system documentation.
  • Support user training on newly released systems and functionalities.
  • Develop and program reports using SQL and related technologies.
  • Create KPI dashboards and data visualization reports.
  • Support study teams with safety data analytics and reporting.
  • Track metrics and reporting requests from stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience with pharmacovigilance safety systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Argus Safety, ArisG, or similar PV platforms.
  • Experience in safety system implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Knowledge of GxP system validation processes.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and requirements gathering.

Technical Skills

  • SQL programming experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as:
    • Oracle Database
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Microsoft Access
  • Familiarity with:
    • Spotfire
    • jReview
    • Data visualization tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
