Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Scientist to join our pharmacovigilance and drug safety team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management across clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct safety surveillance and analyze safety data for assigned projects.
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
✔ Develop and implement safety management plans and risk minimization strategies.
✔ Participate in safety review meetings and provide expert insights.
✔ Prepare safety-related documents for regulatory submissions.
✔ Oversee pharmacovigilance (PV) activities, including signal detection, risk management plans (RMPs), and aggregate safety reports (PSURs, DSURs).
✔ Support literature search and review for pharmacovigilance activities.
✔ Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance tracking.
✔ Contribute to process improvements, SOPs, and training programs within ICON.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
✅ Proven experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical research.
✅ Strong understanding of global PV regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH-GCP).
✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
