📌 Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate medical codes for Emergency Department (ED) Profee services (IP/OP).
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
- Perform Quality Coding Audits (QCA) to maintain accuracy.
- Review physician documentation to validate coding accuracy.
- Stay updated with CMS, AMA, and payer-specific coding regulations.
- Work closely with the billing team to resolve coding-related denials.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 6 months to 5 years of experience in ED Profee Coding (EM IP/OP).
- Certification preferred (CPC, CCS, CIC, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of EMR systems and coding software.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
