Job Description: Production Chemist
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our production team at our Cheriyal, Patancheru facility near Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on contributor involved in various aspects of API manufacturing. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reactor Operation and Maintenance: You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of chemical reactors, adhering strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. This includes monitoring reactions, adjusting parameters as needed, and ensuring the quality of the final product.
- Equipment Handling and Operation: Experience with and proficient operation of various types of processing equipment is crucial. This includes centrifuges, dryers, and powder processing equipment. Understanding the principles behind these machines and performing routine maintenance are key requirements.
- Adherence to GMP: Strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is paramount. Maintaining clean and organized workspaces, meticulously documenting processes, and adhering to safety regulations are non-negotiable aspects of the role.
- Quality Control Procedures: Contributing to quality control by following established procedures, performing basic checks, and reporting any deviations or irregularities. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with colleagues, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry is a mandatory requirement.
- Experience: We welcome applications from both fresh graduates (2022, 2023, and 2024 pass-outs) and those with up to 5 years of experience in the API industry. Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a practical understanding of chemical processes are essential.
