Are you a medical writer with expertise in oncology and a passion for scientific communication? CACTUS Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Writer to develop high-quality medical and scientific content for global pharmaceutical clients. This is a remote-first role with opportunities to work on publications, slide decks, medical information letters, and digital medical communications.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop, proofread, and data-check scientific materials (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, infographics).
✔ Work on oncology-related publications, with a preference for experience in gastric cancer.
✔ Collaborate with pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
✔ Ensure compliance with client SOPs, style guides, and regulatory requirements.
✔ Contribute to digital medical communications, including publication extenders, infographics, and patient engagement content.
✔ Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and scientific discussions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with strong clinical research understanding.
✅ 1-3 years of experience in medical writing, preferably in oncology.
✅ Experience with gastric cancer publications is a plus.
✅ Excellent scientific writing, editing, and communication skills.
✅ Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences (HCPs, patients, researchers).
✅ Proficiency in MS Office, literature reviewing, and basic biostatistics.
