Job Responsibilities
The Data Information Services Associate I will be trained to perform database and data-management activities for nonclinical studies under supervision.
Database and Data Management
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing study documents such as protocols and reports to identify information required for database population and reporting.
- Populating and querying databases under supervision.
- Compiling metadata required to support database requests.
- Generating and quality-checking database requests for different study and data types.
- Manually compiling information, where required, into spreadsheets and other usable formats.
- Conducting information searches to identify relevant information within requested timeframes.
- Learning appropriate methods of communication and direct contact with clients.
- Preparing form letters and other communication content.
- Using software tools to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
Software Testing and Validation
The associate may also receive training in software testing and validation activities.
This can include:
- Executing test scripts.

- Following Systems Life Cycle (SLC) procedures.
- Supporting activities aligned with software validation requirements.
