The Scientist III role is a key non-supervisory position that involves overseeing and completing activities related to the Reference Standards (RS) and Material Strategy program, including Certified Reference Materials (CRM) and Analytical Reference Materials (ARM). The incumbent will be responsible for drafting procurement specifications, collaborative testing protocols, and providing technical assistance, data analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Testing Management: Prepare and manage protocols for RS lots, provide technical support to labs, and review analytical data.
- Data Review and Reporting: Review collaborator data, prepare summary reports, and handle RSCEP package creation.
- Documentation and Planning: Draft product planning documents, coordinate testing, and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Address and resolve quality issues to maintain an effective portfolio of reference standards.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to address technical inquiries and complaints.
- Support Functions: Assist the Documentary Standard team with peer reviews and contribute to cross-functional activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MSc/MPharm with 6-8 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 1-3 years of experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in interpreting spectroscopic data (NMR, IR, MS, Raman, XRD).
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC, SFC).
- Competencies: Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication.
