Job Responsibilities
As a Safety Associate in Lifecycle Safety, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of healthcare products. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Data Assessment and Processing: Review, assess, and process safety data from various sources while adhering to regulations and guidelines.
  2. Pharmacovigilance Activities: Handle tasks like tracking adverse events (AEs), updating databases, AE coding, narrative writing, and literature review.
  3. Quality and Productivity Standards: Maintain high-quality standards and meet project-specific productivity requirements.
  4. Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, client requirements, and training guidelines.
  5. Problem Solving and Collaboration: Address quality issues, liaise with stakeholders, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
  6. Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor new team members and support departmental initiatives.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field with up to 3 years of relevant experience (including 1 year in Pharmacovigilance).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, regulatory requirements, and safety databases.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
