Job Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator to manage the end-to-end delivery of data management services for single/multi-service projects. You will ensure quality deliverables are on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. This role involves providing comprehensive data management expertise and leadership to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team, focusing on project planning, execution, close-out, financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on data management deliverables.
- Provide project management expertise with minimal guidance.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure open communication with customers and IQVIA management.
Service Management:
- Meet regularly with the Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) and Data Operations team members to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Establish strong communication with Data Operations team, functional leads, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Support DM service delivery with comprehensive DM process and technical expertise.
- Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues.
Financial Management/Business Development Support:
- Ensure service and quality meet agreed-upon timelines and deliverables in the contract/Scope of Work (SOW).
- Manage SOW/budget and review financial reports on a monthly basis.
- Identify out-of-scope tasks and track change orders to completion.
- Participate in and support the RFP process.
Other Duties:
- Provide input on DM process improvements or project solutions.
- Participate in focus teams or best practice teams.
- Perform other duties as directed by functional managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in health, clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of direct Data Management experience with at least 6 months as a CDM project lead.
- Experience managing study delivery through the full DM life-cycle.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and/or Physiology.
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practices and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
