Job Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant at IQVIA, you will utilize your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership skills from day one. You will help drive change in the Life Sciences sector. Each project will offer unique challenges and opportunities, but typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting primary and secondary research, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify key client issues, and translating data into meaningful insights for key decision-makers.
- Leveraging business experience and acumen to identify strategic alternatives for client questions.
- Collaborating with a team of professionals to create reports, presentations, and workshops for client employees, management teams, and other stakeholders, under the guidance of experienced team leaders.
- Developing a broad knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through engagement delivery and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Working independently and as part of a team, supervising junior team members.
- Assisting in the development and writing of proposals with senior support.
- Attending, supporting, and presenting at client meetings.
- Contributing to learning, development, and recruiting efforts.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- An undergraduate or master’s degree in life sciences, economics/ business, with 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry, OR an academic PhD with commercial experience in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in Commercial Consulting or Strategy Consulting.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, and business/report writing.
- Strong capability in managing priorities to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others across the organization to achieve team goals.
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
- A keen interest in the healthcare and life sciences industries.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Adaptability and a quick learning ability to apply new knowledge and thinking.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
