Roles and Responsibilities

Candidates selected for Production and QC roles will typically be responsible for:

Production

  • Handling API manufacturing operations
  • Monitoring production processes and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards
  • Maintaining batch documentation and process records
  • Supporting scale-up and production efficiency initiatives

Quality Control (QC)

  • Performing chemical and analytical testing
  • Handling laboratory instruments and analytical methods
  • Conducting raw material and finished product testing
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Preparing and maintaining QC documentation

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements depending on the role:

For Production Roles

  • ITI (AOCP)
  • B.Sc
  • M.Sc
  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering
  • BE / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

For Quality Control Roles

  • B.Sc Chemistry
  • M.Sc Chemistry
  • B.Sc Microbiology
  • M.Sc Microbiology
  • Diploma Chemical Engineering

Experience Required

Experience requirements vary depending on the position:

  • Chemist / Technician: 2 to 15 years
  • Officer / Senior Officer (Production): 3 to 15 years
  • Analyst / Senior Officer (QC): 3 to 15 years

Candidates with relevant experience in API manufacturing or pharmaceutical quality control will be preferred.
