๐ง Key Responsibilities
As a Risk Manager in clinical research, you will:
- Develop and implement risk-based monitoring strategies tailored to clinical trials
- Conduct risk assessments and support RACT (Risk Assessment and Categorization Tools) finalization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical operations, data management, safety)
- Perform centralized statistical monitoring and remote data reviews
- Identify and mitigate data quality and compliance risks
- Guide Project Managers in risk tracking and mitigation planning
- Support budget recommendations and change orders
- Deliver training on RBM and centralized monitoring
- Escalate critical risks impacting timelines or deliverables
- Provide strategic insights for risk reporting to leadership
๐ Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Clinical Research or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in risk management in clinical research
- At least 5 years total experience in:
- Clinical Monitoring
- Data Management
- Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety
Core Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP (E6 R3) guidelines
- Expertise in Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM) and RBSM frameworks
- Hands-on experience with RACT tools and trial management systems
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Filtering, Sorting)
- Proficiency in data visualization & statistical analysis tools
- Understanding of FDA and global regulatory guidelines
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles
