Position
Apprentice (Finance)
The selected apprentice will support the Finance Team with accounting transactions, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, invoice processing, dashboard development, and business performance analysis.
Responsibilities
Candidates selected for the Illumina Finance Apprenticeship will be expected to learn and assist with the following activities:
- Maintain financial records and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Process invoices and prepare journal entries.
- Support the creation and optimization of dashboards and visual reports.
- Apply Excel-based modelling techniques for financial analysis and reporting.
- Work with enterprise analytics and reporting tools.
- Assist in designing and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Improve reporting tools and analytical processes through continuous learning.
Eligibility and Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Graduation year: 2026 graduates only.
- Preferred educational background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
