Responsibilities in the Lab Report Coordinator Intern Role
As a Lab Report Coordinator Intern at ICON, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate entry of lab results and normal reference ranges into the iRIS system. You will work closely with the team to follow sponsor and departmental requirements for lab data entry, verifying patient demographics, and ensuring the integrity of laboratory reports. Specific duties include:
- Entering lab results and normal reference ranges based on sponsor and departmental guidelines.
- Using reference guides to translate lab results and verifying the accuracy of translated data.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies related to lab reports, including demographics, visit details, and results.
- Updating accessions with answers to queries based on site responses.
- Performing calculations when necessary and entering the calculated results into the system.
- Adhering to the company’s process improvement culture to ensure seamless operations.
Qualification and Skills Required for the Role
