- Immunological work related to cell culture and animal experimentation
- Conducting necropsies of experimental animals, tissue preservation, handling, and processing for downstream applications
- Performing basic molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting, and Immunohistochemistry
- Handling automated biochemical analysis platforms and ELISAs
- Conducting primary and secondary cell culture, isolation of immune cell subsets, and immunological assays
- Data aggregation and statistical analysis using platforms like SPSS, Prism, Origin, etc.
Essential Qualifications
- Education:
- First class Post Graduate degree including integrated PG degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology & related Life science disciplines, with three years of experience, OR
- Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subjects
- Second class PG degree including integrated PG degree with Ph.D. and three years of experience
- First class engineering graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Sciences with three years of experience
- Experience:
- Prior experience in mouse and rat handling
- Experience in primary and secondary cell culture techniques
- Handling sophisticated molecular biology instruments such as Flow cytometry, ELISPOT readers, etc.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in various immunological assays and molecular biology techniques
- Data aggregation from scholarly databases and statistical analysis
- National level qualification exams
- Prior experience in cell culture techniques
Terms & Conditions
- Appointment is initially for six months to one year, extendable based on performance
- Selected candidates must produce original documents for verification at the time of joining
- No entitlement to allowances such as DA, TA, LTC, Bonus, etc.
- Engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice by either side
- Age relaxation as per GoI and ICMR norms
- No claim on a regular post in ICMR-NIOH or any Govt. Department
