Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Content Specialist will work on developing and validating content related to Drugs and Biologicals (D&B) in the US healthcare ecosystem.

Pharmacy Responsibilities

  • Understand drug and biologic classifications.
  • Review generic and branded medications.
  • Evaluate dosage determination and administration.
  • Assess medication safety and compliance.
  • Interpret pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
  • Understand regulatory authorities including CDSCO, DCGI, and Department of Pharmaceuticals.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Analyze medical necessity of therapies.
  • Review dosage and administration guidelines.
  • Assess medication frequency and treatment duration.
  • Evaluate contraindications and adverse drug reactions.
  • Examine age and gender-specific prescribing considerations.
  • Assess off-label medication usage.
  • Interpret complex clinical scenarios and treatment pathways.

US Healthcare & Coding Responsibilities

  • Review healthcare reimbursement guidelines.
  • Work with HCPCS, J-Codes, CPT, ICD, NDC, Modifiers, and Revenue Codes.
  • Interpret CMS and Medicaid policies.
  • Research payer policies and payment integrity concepts.
  • Develop rule logic based on clinical evidence and healthcare policies.

Research & Literature Review

  • Analyze FDA drug labels and package inserts.
  • Review scientific publications from PubMed and NCBI.
  • Correlate multiple medical literature sources.
  • Generate evidence-based clinical content.
  • Extract actionable insights from healthcare policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess:

  • Pharm.D degree (preferred qualification)
  • M.Pharm in Pharmacology or Clinical Pharmacy
  • Strong clinical and pharmacy knowledge
  • Research-oriented mindset
  • Experience in thesis work, case studies, or clinical research projects
  • Excellent communication and interpretation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Certifications

  • CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
  • COC (Certified Outpatient Coder)
