Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in M.Sc./B.Sc. in Life Sciences with specializations such as Biotechnology, Medical Microbiology, Microbiology, or Medical Biochemistry.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience (for both M.Sc. and B.Sc. holders).
- Expertise in patient counseling and proficiency in dry lab techniques .
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Research Officer , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Patient Interaction and Data Collection
- Prepare structured interview questions to gather relevant information from patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
- Summarize findings and document them meticulously for further analysis.
2. Laboratory Coordination
- Liaise with laboratories to share and discuss research findings.
- Oversee the collection, labeling, storage, and transportation of all specimens.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines.
3. Data Analysis and Documentation
- Record dietary intake patterns, physical activity levels, and other clinical data from patient records.
- Use advanced statistical methods to analyze collected data.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of ethics approvals, biosafety committee reports, and DSIR-related records.
4. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with bioinformaticians , genetic counselors , clinicians , and clinical geneticists for comprehensive data interpretation.
- Review and process orders for laboratory procedures related to patient samples.
5. Administrative Oversight
- Oversee seamless patient enrollment for ongoing research studies.
- Ensure all activities align with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
