As a Safety Associate Trainee, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and processing safety data and information across various service lines. This role involves working closely with senior operations team members to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines. The position is based in Kochi and may require occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data in compliance with regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
  • Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking adverse events (AE) and endpoint information, determining the status of incoming events, database entry, coding AE and products, writing narratives, and conducting literature-related activities.
  • Assume additional workflow responsibilities as directed by the operations team or manager.
  • Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Identify quality issues and report them to senior team members or mentors.
  • Participate in project team meetings and provide feedback to the operations manager.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduates with PharmD/MPharm/BPharm degrees.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to team goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills across safety service lines.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Commitment to quality and adherence to IQVIA core values.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Frequent use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to operate in shifts.
