๐ Key Responsibilities
1. Scientific Investigator Engagement
- Build compliant, high-value relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs) and Sub-Investigators
- Provide scientific insights on:
- Study rationale and endpoints
- Eligibility criteria and enrollment strategy
- Protocol procedures and data quality considerations
2. Protocol Implementation Support
- Ensure critical-to-quality (CTQ) protocol adherence
- Identify gaps like:
- Screening failures
- Inclusion/exclusion confusion
- Support scientific troubleshooting at site level
3. Trial Feasibility & Enrollment Strategy
- Provide insights on:
- Patient recruitment barriers
- Referral pathways and competing trials
- Collaborate with CTMs/CRAs while maintaining scientific role boundaries
4. Clinical Insights & Feedback Loop
- Collect investigator feedback on:
- Protocol feasibility
- Endpoint relevance
- Deliver actionable insights for:
- Protocol amendments
- Training improvements
5. Scientific Presentations & Meetings
- Contribute to:
- Investigator meetings
- Scientific congresses
- Deliver presentations on protocol and endpoints
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Follow ICH-GCP guidelines and SOPs
- Maintain documentation in systems like CTMS/eTMF/eDC
- Report adverse events and safety concerns
๐ Qualifications & Eligibility
Education
- Advanced degree preferred: PharmD, MD, PhD, NP/PA
- Or equivalent clinical research experience
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in clinical research or clinical development
- Strong knowledge of:
- Clinical trial methodology
- GCP guidelines
- Experience in neuroscience/psychiatry trials preferred
