Clarivate is seeking a Scientific Editor (Junior/Entry Level) to join our IP Content Editing Team in Tamil Nadu, India. This role involves extracting novel scientific information from Pharma-related patents and enhancing it using DWPI™ (Derwent World Patent Index) codes for the Derwent Innovation product.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Index and code biological compounds from patents.
✔ Extract and analyze data related to:
- Recombinant technology & Genetic engineering
- Fermentation & Enzyme nomenclature
- Identification of biological macromolecules (proteins, receptors, antibodies)
- Detection techniques for biological macromolecules
- Vaccines and their applications
- Hybrid plants
✔ Ensure high-quality, efficient patent data analysis to meet volume targets.
✔ Stay updated with trends in Pharma & Biotech fields.
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflow efficiency.
✔ Adapt to process changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education:
- M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology
- B.Tech in Biotechnology
- Experience: Fresher or <2 years in relevant field
- Skills Required:
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent written & verbal English communication
- Ability to interpret complex scientific data
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
