Clarivate, a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics, is hiring an Associate STEM Content Analyst (BioChemistry, Chemistry) for its IP Content Editing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or professionals with less than 2 years of experience in chemistry or biochemistry to work on Derwent World Patent Index (DWPIâ„¢), a proprietary database that helps in searching and identifying pharmaceutical compounds, compositions, and structures in patents.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Indexing and coding chemical compounds from patents.
✔ Extracting pharmaceutical, therapeutic, and agrochemical data, including drug information, chemical reactions, and Markush structures.
✔ Ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of target volumes.
✔ Staying updated with the latest trends in pharmaceutical and chemistry domains.
✔ Using chemical drawing tools (e.g., ISIS Draw) and handling IUPAC nomenclature.
✔ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
✔ Maintaining flexibility and adaptability to process changes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: M.Sc in Chemistry / Biochemistry, B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Experience: Freshers or up to 2 years in a relevant field.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of chemical structure handling tools, IUPAC nomenclature (preferred).
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
