Job Responsibilities
As a Medical Writer at Cactus Communications, you will:

- Develop High-Quality Content: Write, proofread, and data-check scientific materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, MSL/training slide decks, infographics, and standard response letters, ensuring alignment with client needs and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build professional relationships with pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, authors, and key opinion leaders across therapeutic areas.
- Conduct Literature Reviews: Perform literature searches and evaluations to support evidence-based content development.
- Support Digital Initiatives: Create engaging digital content, including infographics, interactive assets, website content, and patient narratives.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to client requirements, style guides, and CACTUS’ internal SOPs while maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Attend Meetings and Trainings: Participate in workshops, client meetings, and team events (occasional travel to Mumbai may be required).
Qualifications and Prerequisites
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: PhD/MD in Pharmacology, PhD in Life Sciences, or PharmD with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in scientific writing, particularly in publications.
- Skills: Clear, concise scientific writing style, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills for client interactions.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of biostatistics and proficiency in MS Office.
- Adaptability: Ability to tailor content to diverse audiences and therapeutic areas.
- Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in India.
