Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst or Sr. Analyst in Bioanalytical Research, your role will involve:
- Sample Collection and Processing
Collecting samples for analysis from custodians and employing various extraction techniques to determine analyte concentrations. - Batch Sequence Preparation
Collaborating with LIMS Operators for batch sequence preparation and verification. - Analytical Procedures
Performing analysis using LCMS, adhering to GxP guidelines, and having a solid understanding of mass spectrometry operations, including ESI and APCI. - Documentation and Compliance
Maintaining rigorous documentation standards, ensuring every experiment and observation aligns with established protocols. This includes method development, validation documentation, and online logging of experimental outcomes. - Quality Control and Investigation
Timely resolution of findings raised by QC and QA, along with conducting investigations to address abnormalities. - Calibration and Equipment Maintenance
Calibrating lab equipment as required and coordinating with engineers to resolve any breakdowns.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in LCMS and chiral chromatography
