The Opportunity
We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to perform case processing and related activities in alignment with patient safety operations.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Processing serious and non-serious adverse events from various post-marketing sources.
- Ensuring accurate and consistent medical coding through MedDRA for all events in the Safety Database.
- Verifying data between source documents and entered data for evaluation of events, suspect drug coding, seriousness, causality, listedness, and narrative writing.
- Evaluating the need for follow-ups and queries with stakeholders to ensure correct and accurate data transfer.
- Analyzing quality data for any trends and preparing the team for process stabilization.
- Providing administrative support by taking full responsibility for assigned case processing activities.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information and updating the reporting manager on status reports in real-time.
- Maintaining effective communication with internal departments and external partners, authorities, and vendors.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Any life sciences/pharmaceutical/healthcare professional graduate (B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, Pharm D, BDS).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in pharmacovigilance including literature review process in ICSR
- Experience in patient safety/pharmacovigilance: solid knowledge in pharmacovigilance concepts, regulations, and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.
- Flexible to adapt to shifting team priorities.
