Patient Reimbursement Coordinator – India
The Patient Reimbursement Coordinator will manage patient travel logistics or reimbursement processing for assigned clinical trial projects and coordinate with internal teams, patients, caregivers, and clinical sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient travel logistics or reimbursement processing for assigned clinical trial projects.
- Support new project setup, including mailbox creation, portal access, SharePoint folders, and study-specific documentation.
- Review and validate patient enrolment information and approve access to designated digital platforms such as PatientGO®.
- Respond to patient requests received through apps, email, or phone.
- Coordinate flight, train, accommodation, and ground transportation bookings when required.
- Review and verify reimbursement requests according to study-specific Travel & Reimbursement Policies.
- Approve, reject, or escalate reimbursement and stipend submissions based on study criteria and internal policies.
- Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding logistics, reimbursement updates, and queries.
- Liaise with clinical sites regarding patient reimbursement and travel coordination.
- Process patient payments, stipends, and travel confirmations through approved systems and vendor platforms.
- Maintain accurate patient information, visit records, and service logs in real time.
- Support reimbursement submissions on behalf of patients when required.
- Provide data and updates for monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with GCP, data protection regulations, and company SOPs.
- Participate in client meetings, site initiation visits, and investigator meetings when requested.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Pharmacy, Pharm.D, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Biotechnology, Healthcare Management, Nursing, or other healthcare/life-science related disciplines
