Key Responsibilities
As a Packaging & Device Development Executive, you will:
- Perform characterization of RLD packaging samples (PFS, IV bags, ophthalmic, devices)
- Finalize pack configurations for exhibit batches (generic & NDA products)
- Drive new packaging material identification and vendor development
- Support mold development and validation for packaging components
- Assist regulatory teams in ANDA, NDA, and EU filings
- Prepare and review:
- Specifications
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- MPC, pack styles, threshold analysis
- DHF, GSPR, and EU MDR technical documentation
- Conduct functional testing for injectable packaging (ISO/USP standards)
- Develop and execute study protocols and reports
- Provide troubleshooting support for plant and market complaints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: FDD, RA, Plant, PPIC, Marketing, BD, PMO
- Support product launches and NPI coordination
Required Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: M.Pharm or PG from IIP
- Experience: 0โ2 years (freshers can apply)
- Strong understanding of:
- Pharmaceutical packaging development
- Regulatory documentation (ANDA/NDA/EU MDR)
- ISO/USP standards for injectable products
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of device development and combination products
- Familiarity with regulated markets (US/EU)
- Exposure to risk assessment tools like FMEA
- Ability to work in a cross-functional R&D environment
