๐ Key Responsibilities
As a Statistical Programmer in clinical trials, you will:
- Lead programming activities across multiple studies and therapeutic areas
- Develop SDTM and ADaM datasets following CDISC standards
- Create Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs) using SAS
- Prepare define.xml, aCRF, cSDRG, ADRG, ARM for regulatory submissions
- Support submissions to FDA, EMA, PMDA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Participate in CRF annotation, SAP review, and TLF specifications
- Develop and maintain standard macros and programming SOPs
- Mentor junior programmers and contribute to SME topics
๐ Qualifications & Skills
To succeed in this statistical programming job in pharma, you should have:
- Bachelorโs degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field
- 2โ12+ years of SAS programming experience in clinical data
- Strong knowledge of:
- CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM)
- Clinical trial processes & statistical concepts
- Regulatory submissions (NDA, ANDA, eCTD)
- Working knowledge of R or Python (preferred)
- Experience with P21 checks and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
