Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the SSB ASI Pharmacist vacancy 2026, candidates must fulfill the following:
- Educational Qualification:ย Must have passedย 10+2 with Scienceย from a recognized board.
- Professional Qualification:ย Aย 2-year Diploma in Pharmacyย from a recognized institute.
- Registration:ย Must be registered as a Pharmacist under theย Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Experience:ย At leastย one year of experienceย as a Pharmacist in a minimumย 100-bedded hospital.
- Age Limit:ย 18 to 27 years. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment involves a multi-stage selection process:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male:ย 1.6 km race in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
- Female:ย 800 meters race in 4 minutes.
- Physical Standard Test (PST):ย Measurement of height (170 cm for males, 155 cm for females) and chest (80-85 cm for males).
- Written Examination:ย A 3-hour objective test (150 marks):
- Part-I (50 Marks):ย General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General English/Hindi.
- Part-II (100 Marks):ย Technical Subject (Pharmacy specific).
- Document Verification & Medical Examination (DME/RME).
