Key Responsibilities of a Scientific Writer
As a Scientific Writer at Sanofi, you will:
- Develop specialized scientific content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders to create customized medical education materials.
- Support end-to-end publication processes, including documentation and approval in platforms like PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Build and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with regional scientific communication teams to identify publication needs and deliver strategic solutions.
- Assist in conducting comprehensive publication-need analyses and implementing publication plans.
- Partner with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education: An advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline. A medical degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical, healthcare industry, or academia.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in therapeutic area knowledge, publication submission processes, and project management.
- Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Language: Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
