Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. Executive – ICSR (Data Entry), you will play a critical role in the pharmacovigilance process by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of safety data. Your responsibilities include:

  • Data Review and Interpretation: Analyze safety data from clinical, non-clinical, and literature sources.
  • Adverse Event Evaluation: Assess and process adverse event reports, including post-marketing surveillance cases.
  • Duplicate Case Identification: Detect and address duplicate or invalid ICSR cases effectively.
  • Accurate Data Management: Perform precise data entry and maintain records in EDC databases.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct peer reviews of cases and ensure database entries meet quality standards.
  • Event Coding: Properly code events, drugs, and lab tests using MedDRA or WHO-DD classifications.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you need the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, specifically with ICSR processes.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and interpretation abilities.
  • Proficiency in EDC database management.
  • Familiarity with MedDRA and WHO-DD coding systems.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
