Responsibilities in the Job
As a Pharmacovigilance Scientist, you’ll work closely with VigiBase, supporting stakeholders in their pharmacovigilance efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining search criteria to suit customer use cases.
- Adapting and executing SQL scripts to provide tailored data solutions.
- Delivering high-quality results in adherence to data access protocols.
- Offering guidance on VigiBase content and processing principles.
- Supporting technical aspects to ensure WHO PIDM members meet data-sharing requirements.
- Contributing to UMC’s ongoing research and service development initiatives.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A MSc in Pharmacy, biosciences, or equivalent.
- A proven analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and data retrieval.
- Knowledge of various file and data formats.
- Competency in MS Excel.
- An adaptable, problem-solving attitude with a helpful nature.
- Previous experience in pharmacovigilance is a bonus but not mandatory.
