About the Role
The SDSA function within Global Biometrics & Data Management (GBDM) is responsible for delivering high-quality programming deliverables supporting Pfizer’s portfolio. The team is looking for students with an aptitude for problem-solving, coding, and logical reasoning to work on various SDSA projects. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to work with full-time employees (FTEs) on projects and gain hands-on experience with programming deliverables and languages like R, Python, and understanding of AI/ML.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern in SDSA, some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Working on various SDSA projects and contributing to the team’s efforts
- Gaining practical experience with programming deliverables and languages like R, Python, and AI/ML
- Collaborating with FTEs to understand study-level requirements and establish advanced programming practices
- Applying problem-solving skills and logical reasoning to resolve complex issues
- Developing a deep understanding of statistical programming and its applications in the pharmaceutical industry
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this internship, students must be pursuing their final year Master’s or M. Tech degree in one of the following fields:
- Statistics
- Biostatistics
- Mathematics
- Data Science
- Bio-technology
- Bio-Medical Engineering
- Computers or IT Engineering
Location and Duration
The internship will be based in Chennai, India, and will last for 4-6 months starting from April 2025.
