Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Medical Coding Analyst, your primary responsibilities include:
- Identifying accurate CPT and ICD-9 Codes for physician and facility services, especially in behavioral health settings.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of ICD-9 Coding related to CPC standards.
- Reviewing and maintaining records of claims based on standard CMS guidelines.
- Staying updated with the latest coding practices and materials recommended by CMS.
- Ensuring high standards of coding accuracy and productivity.
- Adhering to company policies, employment contract terms, and flexible work arrangements, as per business needs.
- Performing additional tasks like work location changes, team reassignments, and shift flexibility when required.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Graduate (10+2+3 format).
- Certification: Certified Coding Credential (CPC) with at least 1 year of work experience.
- Coding Knowledge: Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-9 Coding.
