Responsibilities of the Pharmacovigilance Role
In this critical role, you will ensure the safety and effectiveness of Novumgen’s pharmaceutical products. Your key responsibilities include:
- Signal Detection: Identifying new safety signals from post-market surveillance data.
- Aggregate Report Writing: Preparing and reviewing Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and Risk Management Plans (RMPs).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that reports align with international pharmacovigilance standards and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as medical affairs, clinical research, and regulatory affairs to manage product safety profiles.
- Adverse Event Monitoring: Evaluating data from healthcare professionals, clinical studies, and patients to identify trends and risks.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBBS, or related fields).
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related domain.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) and safety reporting guidelines like ICH E2E.
- Regulatory Understanding: Experience with PSURs, RMPs, and handling adverse event reporting systems (e.g., Argus Safety, ArisG).
