Novartis is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to lead scientific engagement with Key Medical Experts (KMEs) in West Bengal. The role involves implementing clinical and educational strategies, addressing unsolicited medical inquiries, and collaborating with healthcare stakeholders to improve patient access and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a scientific expert in the assigned therapeutic area (Oncology experience preferred).
- Engage with external stakeholders (HCPs, researchers, policymakers) to co-create value and address patient needs.
- Contribute to Integrated Product Strategy (IPS), Evidence Generation Plans, and Launch Excellence Roadmap.
- Identify data gaps, real-world evidence (RWE) opportunities, and unmet medical needs.
- Support clinical trials and facilitate Managed Access Programs (MAPs).
- Leverage digital tools for enhanced stakeholder engagement and insights gathering.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
- Advanced degree in health/life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD preferred).
- 2-3 years of medical affairs experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and scientific engagement skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, field-based environment with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital solutions for medical insights and stakeholder mapping.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in Oncology.
