Labcorp is hiring for Sample Handling Assistant II.
Job Responsibilities
The Sample Handling Assistant II will be responsible for the receipt and processing of data registration from requisition forms. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform first and second entry of patient demographics and administrative questions displayed on requisitions.
- Complete batches according to urgency and defined turnaround time.
- Perform accessioning or data entry under trainer supervision and independently after training.
- Check and clean the CPP report.
- Check and clean AD Pending.
- Create batches using ImageNow and export them in Excel.
- Distribute batches to the team based on workload.
- Perform volume analysis by verifying incoming volumes against created batches.
- Follow up with stakeholders through email.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure received batches are processed on time.
- Generate an appropriate audit trail of activities.
- Perform on-call and after-hours duties when required.
- Read and follow relevant SOPs.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and departmental and interdepartmental SOPs.
- Complete required training.
- Maintain an updated training file.
- Ensure proper documentation for future reference.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Contribute ideas for departmental process improvement.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of work experience in the clinical research industry
- Master’s Degree in Science
