Position 1: Data Management Associate I โ Yeshwantpur
The role focuses on data feed configurations, data point mapping development, quality control, troubleshooting and data management activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage data feed configurations and data point mapping development.
- Plan and establish timelines for data feed configurations and mapping development.
- Perform QC of data feed configurations and data point mappings.
- Identify errors and omissions and support remediation.
- Complete mandatory Quality Assurance training.
- Attend Data Management meetings.
- Participate in job shadowing and interdepartmental development opportunities.
- Participate in ongoing training related to process and system changes.
- Complete advanced training for continued development.
- Contribute to training and development of assigned team members.
- Use knowledge of SOPs, validation standards and work procedures to suggest improvements and provide training and guidance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Science.
- Master’s degree in Science is preferred.
- 6 months of experience in the contract research industry is preferred.
Required Skills
- Problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of database query tools such as DB Forge or MySQL Workbench is preferred.
Position 2: Data Management Associate I โ Brigade Twin Towers
This is an entry-level position in Labcorp’s global data management solutions group for nonclinical studies. The role involves learning database population, querying and related data management activities under supervision.
Responsibilities
General Duties
- Learn appropriate methods and levels of direct contact with clients.
- Learn to prepare form letters and communication text.
- Learn to use software tools for completing job duties accurately and efficiently.
- Work with word processing, spreadsheets, datasets/tables, collaboration tools and database-support applications.
Database Activities
The role includes training on database-related activities such as:
- Obtaining and reviewing study documents, including protocols and reports.
- Gathering information to populate databases and support data reporting.
- Compiling metadata for systems supporting database requests.
- Generating and quality-checking database requests for different study and data types.
- Compiling data manually, typically using spreadsheets, into usable formats.
- Generating information searches to identify relevant information within requested timeframes.
Software Testing and Validation
- Training on software testing and validation activities may be provided.
- Execute test scripts.
- Maintain documentation according to Systems Life Cycle (SLC) methodology and applicable software validation principles.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences is preferred.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of programming applications or formulas such as SAS, R or Python, or willingness to learn these within the first year.
