The institute is part of the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), which monitors adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to ensure drug safety nationwide.
Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities)
The Junior Pharmacovigilance Associate will work under the ADR Monitoring Centre, Department of Pharmacology at AIIMS Bathinda. Key responsibilities include:
- Collection and documentation of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reports.
- Processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in VigiFlow.
- Quality, clinical, and statistical review of ICSRs in the drug safety database.
- Assisting in pharmacovigilance activities as directed by authorities.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, or Clinical Research.
- OR Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (as of interview date).
Desirable Qualification:
- 1 year of experience in drug safety or pharmacovigilance Desirable Not Essential
