IQVIA is seeking a Pharmacovigilance and Data Analyst to join the Integrated Research Solutions (IRS) Team for IQVIA ANZ, one of Australia’s leading and largest healthcare market research providers. As part of the team, you will conduct Adverse Event (AE) reporting set-up, data review for AE submissions, and project reconciliation requirements for pharmacovigilance compliance in both quantitative and qualitative research studies. Responsibilities also include coding open-ended questions for quantitative studies, tabulating study results, and generating PowerPoint reports. A desire to work in a highly regulated environment with strict timelines is essential. You will collaborate closely with project managers, client contacts, investigators, and third-party vendors throughout the project cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, monitor, and report PV data from market research programs per client requirements or IQVIA’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with client requirements including training, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with client’s drug safety units, team members, fieldwork vendors, and the data management team to facilitate safety reporting.
- Support the IRS team in coding/categorizing verbatims captured via open-end questions in online surveys into key topics/themes.
- Assist the IRS team with data analysis, including data tabulation, charting, and PowerPoint generation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Graduate in Pharma/life sciences/Biotechnology OR 1-2 years of pharmacovigilance experience, preferably in primary market research.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey messages clearly to stakeholders and vendors.
- Ability to work towards deadlines and under pressure with effective prioritization skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt and apply learning in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in the healthcare industry and a continuous desire to learn more about it.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience assisting project managers to reach project outcomes.
- Team player who contributes positively to team operations and working relationships.
- Ability to manage own workload with minimal guidance and demonstrated experience working autonomously and within a team.
Additional Skills (Highly Desirable):
- Experience programming/scripting online surveys using Decipher or Confirmit/Forsta software.
