Positions
QA Analyst
The QA Analyst will work on testing highly complex software applications and support activities including test planning, execution, defect management, UAT, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing of highly complex software applications under general supervision.
- Review requirements and create test plans or contribute to test estimations.
- Support manual and automation testing planning.
- Plan, author, and execute test cases for planned releases.
- Perform test iterations, defect tracking, and reporting of test results.
- Coordinate with team members and project stakeholders.
- Work closely with Developers, Test Leads/Managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain test-result documentation to support debugging and software modifications.
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
- Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Discuss and flag risks and mitigation plans with management when necessary.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- 2–4 years of experience as an individual contributor.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Clinical Information Management
- Equivalent qualifications
Required Skills
- Manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Oracle/SQL.
- HP ALM.
- JIRA.
- SynapseRT.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC processes.
- Strong understanding of the defect lifecycle.
- Understanding of Clinical Data Management.
- UAT experience for IRT, ECOA, and medical devices.
- ETL tools and concepts are preferred.
- Automation testing exposure or experience is good to have.
- SDTM standard knowledge is desirable.
