Positions
- Site Payment Specialist – Investigator Grants & Clinical Payments
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end investigator grant and site payment activities for assigned clinical studies.
- Review and validate visit, milestone, subject and pass-through expense data used as payment triggers.
- Maintain accurate and complete payment trackers.
- Coordinate with Clinical Operations, Data Integration, Site Contract and Finance teams.
- Reconcile payment records against approved budgets, invoices and payment confirmations.
- Respond to investigator site queries and resolve payment discrepancies within defined SLAs.
- Ensure payments comply with executed Clinical Trial Agreements, approved site budgets and applicable controls.
- Maintain audit-ready payment calculations, approvals, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Support audits, inspections, sponsor reviews and internal quality reviews.
- Participate in transition, parallel run, system change and process improvement activities.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in clinical trial payments, site finance or investigator grant management within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare organization.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country clinical studies is preferred.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in investigator grant or site payment operations.
- Working knowledge of clinical trial workflows, site contracts, budgets and payment schedules.
- Familiarity with EDC, CTMS, payment platforms, ERP systems and tracking tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple payment cycles.
- Effective communication skills for working with investigator sites and cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of audit readiness, data privacy and payment compliance requirements.
