Responsibilities of the Project Management Role

The Project Management position at Indegene involves a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the successful execution of projects. The key duties include:

  1. Understanding project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  2. Communicating project requirements effectively to team members and stakeholders.
  3. Managing project dependencies and critical paths to meet timelines.
  4. Handling budgeting and costing, including proposals and client pitches.
  5. Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  6. Collaborating with stakeholders and addressing conflicts within the project team.
  7. Preparing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  8. Analyzing project results and troubleshooting issues.
  9. Defining project success criteria and disseminating them to all involved parties.
  10. Conducting project post-mortem reviews to identify areas of success and improvement.
  11. Developing best practices and tools for efficient project execution and management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of experience in project management.
  • A background in life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).

Skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills.
  • Experience in both independent and team-oriented collaborative work environments.
  • Passion for networking and staying updated with the latest technological advancements.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
