Positions
Project Analyst I / Project Operations Analyst I (POA I)
The Project Operations Analyst I supports assigned departments or functional teams and works with project team members, clients, clinical/scientific teams, internal and external clients, and vendors to support successful project execution.
Responsibilities
role will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders across areas including:
📌 Project planning, scheduling
📌 Recruitment forecasting, data analysis
📌 Risk, issue, CAPA management
📌 Contract, Change Order Management
📌 Vendor management governance
📌 Proposals, bid defenses operational reporting
📌 Patient recruitment, enrollment insights
- Perform assigned project tasks according to timelines, SOPs, and performance metrics.
- Select and manage suppliers and project resources with team guidance and oversight.
- Identify task-related risks and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Support project meetings, issue resolution, project recaps, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Own assigned portions of project scope and identify scope creep.
- Track and maintain financial data for assigned tasks and projects.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and senior project team members.
- Approve vendor invoices.
- Review TMF for inspection readiness and submit review checklists to the appropriate TMF section.
- Perform eTMF QC/QR activities.
- Support recruitment forecast setup and maintenance.
- Enter key milestone dates into the PM Study Milestone Tracker.
- Support development of communication plans, recruitment/retention plans, project-specific training plans, and training trackers/matrices.
- Assist Project Managers with uploading required project information into ICON applications and systems.
- Support resolution of Operational Data Quality Application (ODQA) queries.
- Support Manual Traffic Light Report (TLR) activities.
- Review operational data logic, quality, and delivery risks with the Project Manager.
- Clean up and close projects in relevant ICON systems.
- Ensure timely completion of CAPA for project deviations and issues.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- Fluency in English, both orally and in writing.
- Experience managing multiple varied tasks simultaneously and independently.
- A process-driven approach with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on, and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An analytical and data-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
