Herbalife Nutrition is seeking a Scientist, Document Control to join its dynamic Quality team in Bangalore, KA, India. This is a full-time, regular position ideal for individuals passionate about quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and documentation in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment.
Position Overview
The Scientist, Document Control will be responsible for ensuring that raw material specifications comply with Herbalife Nutrition and regulatory standards. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely approvals and effective management of raw material documentation and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Technical Review: Analyze raw material documents to ensure compliance for Inner and Outer Nutrition categories.
- Collaboration: Provide guidance to the Document Sourcing team (Corporate and Regional) on raw material specifications, Agile processes, and inquiries.
- Specification Management: Develop, review, and revise raw material specifications in Agile in alignment with current requirements and regulations.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with R&D, Global Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, and other departments to route change requests and gather necessary approvals.
- Supplier and Manufacturer Interaction: Engage with raw material suppliers or contract manufacturers to resolve specification issues and communicate updates.
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive records for all raw material documents and ensure smooth integration with country-specific testing requirements.
- Support and Guidance: Assist the Document Sourcing team and inform contract manufacturers about raw material changes.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the quality function.

Experience
- 4-5 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within an FDA-regulated industry (Food, Dietary Supplements, or Pharmaceuticals).
- Hands-on laboratory testing experience in fields such as Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or Environmental testing.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
