Key Responsibilities:
- Develop queries and frameworks to generate replicable outputs for medication adherence, source of business, co-morbidity index, patient pathways, and other patient attributes using secondary patient and provider claims data (e.g., Xponent, LAAD).
- Apply statistical methods such as Cluster Analysis and predictive modeling to create differentiated customer segments.
- Identify and quantify trend shifts in patient-centric metrics using business acumen.
- Build statistical and machine learning models to predict events like the likelihood to switch.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in notebooks.
- Support ad-hoc analytical deliverables.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations to document major projects and enable knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through timely communication and transparency.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a comparable quantitative field.
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of overall experience, with 4+ years in pharmaceutical analytics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Domain Knowledge: Expertise in US Pharma databases (Xponent, Anonymized Patient Longitudinal Data, LAAD) and experience working with patient claims data.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and mentor team members as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in developing machine learning models.
- Familiarity with emerging GenAI capabilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Certification in Data Science.
