Responsibilities in the Role

As a Real World Evidence Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in advancing clinical research through data-driven insights. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing programming support for analyzing real-world data from various sources such as medical claims, hospital records, and electronic medical records.
  • Developing programming specifications tailored to analysis requirements and source data.
  • Creating and validating datasets from diverse file formats and data sources.
  • Developing and validating graphs and tables for exploratory investigations.
  • Ensuring accuracy in programming analysis-ready datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
  • Supporting documentation processes and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Offering timely updates to project leads and participating in departmental knowledge-sharing meetings.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency in programming processes.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of Real World Evidence (RWE) analysis experience within the CRO or Pharmaceutical industry. Equivalent educational or professional experience will also be considered.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAS and SQL programming is essential.
  • Data Expertise: Familiarity with handling data from Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Claims databases such as Optum, Marketscan, and Flatiron is required.
